EMDR consulting and clinical supervision is offered in Brisbane by Dr Ursula Oertel, a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience and a strong focus on trauma-informed, evidence-based practice.
Ursula is an EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA) Accredited Consultant and member of the EMDRAA Accreditation and Standards Committee. She is also a Psychology Board-approved supervisor with Clinical Psychology Endorsement, and is STAP trained and accredited.
Whether you’re working towards EMDRAA Accreditation or clinical endorsement, Ursula offers a reflective and supportive environment to expand your skills, deepen your clinical understanding and refine your professional identity.
EMDR Consulting for Therapists
Ursula supports EMDR practitioners at all stages of their development, whether you are working toward accreditation or aiming to strengthen your existing skills.
Consultation focuses on clinical development, best practice application and ethical reflection. Each session is tailored to your needs and may include:

Clinical Supervision for Registrars and Provisional Psychologists
As a Psychology Board of Australia (PsyB) Approved Supervisor, Ursula provides competency-based supervision to provisional psychologists and registrars on the clinical endorsement pathway.
Her supervision framework includes:
- Skills development across assessment, formulation and intervention
- Support for ethical decision-making and reflective practice
- Guidance that is tailored to your training stage and goals
- A focus on building confidence, competence and clarity in your professional role
Individual sessions are available to meet PsyBA requirements and provide a consistent, supportive learning space.
Fees & Funding
The cost of a consultation (usually around 50 minutes) is $220.00 (GST Inclusive).
